William
William came to Epona in 2010 as a neglect case with long hooves that resembled flippers. He had to paddle to walk before the farrier came out and cut off the excess hoof with a hacksaw! William recovered from his neglect and lived a wonderful life for 10 years here at Epona where he was ridden and adored by many riding students over the years.
Willow
Willow the mule was surrendered to us late last year with a severely bowed tendon and she was three-legged lame. With dedicated and knowledgeable care by Connie and Cayman, which includes consistent wrapping for support, her leg is looking and feeling MUCH better and she is well on her way to recovery!
